Lesson Structure

Whether you're learning your first notes or returning to the piano after many years, my goal is to make every lesson enjoyable, encouraging, and musically rewarding.

Lessons are tailored to each student's age, experience, and goals. Students will develop solid technique, music-reading skills, rhythm, ear training, theory, and expressive playing while studying music they enjoy.

Lesson Options

  • 30 minutes – $45 per lesson (recommended for beginning students)

  • 45 minutes – $65 per lesson (recommended for intermediate students)

  • 60 minutes – $80 per lesson (recommended for advanced students)

Lessons are offered weekly in my home studio in the Deltona/DeLand/Orange City area.

What Students Can Expect

  • Individualized instruction

  • Fundamentals with flexibility to explore favorite styles

  • Music theory is integrated into each lesson

  • Healthy technique and musicianship

  • A supportive, positive learning environment

  • Performance opportunities when students are ready

Student Expectations

Progress depends on consistent practice between lessons. Students should:

  • Practice regularly throughout the week.

  • Bring all assigned music and materials to each lesson.

  • Arrive on time and ready to learn.

  • Maintain a positive attitude and a willingness to improve.

Studio Policies

Payment

Monthly tuition is due at the beginning of each month to secure your reserved weekly lesson time.

Missed Lessons
Please cancel at least 24-hours in advance. Lessons canceled with sufficient notice may be rescheduled when another opening is available. Lessons missed without advance notice are forfeited.

Teacher Cancellations
If I need to cancel a lesson, I'll make sure to reschedule it at a time that works for both of us or, if preferred, I can credit it toward the following month. Your understanding means a lot, and I appreciate your flexibility!

Practice
Regular practice is the key to steady progress. Even 15–20 minutes a day is far more effective than practicing only once or twice a week.
